The most important task is your Pakistan Trekking Visa

Getting the correct Visa for trekking and climbing in Pakistan is not as straightforward as filling in a form, so it's important that you are fully aware of what Visa you need and what you are required to do in order to obtain it. The processing time for the Visa is 8-9 weeks from the point of application, but there are important steps to take before this for you to be aware of.

First, it is important to note that you need a TREKKING VISA. The trekking visa is different from a regular tourist visa. A trekking visa is specifically for those who plan to go trekking in Pakistan's mountainous regions.

You cannot trek in the K2 region with a standard tourist visa. The official visa site is below.

The trekking visa is issued for 30 days and it will allow you to travel anywhere in Pakistan.

The following documents are needed to apply for the Trekking Visa:

Invitation letter from a licensed tour operator in Pakistan
Pakistan Tour operator license copy
General Manager Id card (also known as CNIC) copies
Travel Itinerary
Trekking in restricted area form ( clients need to fill it up with their name, sign, and then upload it on the visa site).

Once we have this information we will send it to our team in Pakistan who will reply with the documentation you need to apply for the Visa.

Please provide us with this information as soon as possible before your trip, as mentioned - the visa application can take 8-9 weeks and so we will need to start the ball rolling to collate the necessary documents in advance.
